Labels with metallic effects

Labels that speak luxury

An increasingly popular choice in narrow web printing, gravure provides metallic effects often used in luxury labels. Three advantages of gravure printing are:

  1. High quality print: Typically used in complex labels, gravure provides high detail printing that is not as attainable using other print technologies.

  2. Substrate versatility: The process can run with multiple substrates from paper, aluminium, films, etc. and can run at extremely high speeds.

  3. Available as an option to flexo presses: A gravure unit can be integrated in a flexographic printing press. This increases the flexibility of jobs that can be produced.

“We needed a narrow web flexo press to offer more competitive prices on shorter print runs. MPS offered the highest European quality machine. Throughout the sales consultation, the MPS representatives were very open and honest with us. This is why we chose MPS as our flexo partner.”
